About
Metta Alliance exists to serve veterans, families, and communities by cultivating relational clarity, loving-kindness, and ethical responsibility. We support personal maturity, family strength, and community stewardship through weekly gathering, honest reflection, and steady practice.
Who we are
Metta Alliance is a 508(c)(1)(A) organization that serves those seeking depth, responsibility, and purposeful living in a rapidly changing world, a community guided by historical teachings to meet people where they are in modern times.
We believe reality is relational, that growth occurs through awareness, accountability, and intentional participation in community. Our work integrates contemplative Christian and Dharmic wisdom traditions in a way that is grounded, practical, and developmentally focused.
All life is connected. Reality is relational and interdependent. We may use terms such as God, Creator, or Dharma to describe this greater whole, but what matters most is how we live in alignment with it.
Suffering often arises from misperception of separation, projection of responsibility, and unconscious action. When we fail to recognize our relational nature, we limit our growth and impact.
We cultivate:
We draw inspiration from the teachings of Jesus, Shakyamuni Buddha, and contemplative traditions across history. We see these teachings as complementary guides toward relational awakening and responsible living.
